Farmers Fair

The Church will be open on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

during the last day of the Dillsburg Farmers Fair. The church will be available to
tour, take a break from the heat, or just to rest and use the restroom. The Minister of
Music will be providing Music on our wonderful church organ and piano, during the
afternoon. Food will be for sale in the downstairs parish hall as well as activities
and games with prizes for children.

 

Volunteers needed for the Property Committee

The committee is looking for a few more volunteers for the committee that maintains the two buildings and surrounding gardens of the church property.  Your time and effort will not only help maintain the church property, but will also cut down on expenses in our church budget.


Thanksgiving food collection

From October 6th until November 10th we are collecting boxes and bags of stuffing for New Hope Ministries.  Please place your donation on the table in the overlfow area.


New Hope Ministries Christmas Blessing Express

New Hope Ministries will be collecting new toys, clothing, and home items for the Annual Christmas Blessing.  This is for all familieis, mom's, dads, and kids.  Gifts will be collected through December 8th.  We will be putting the tree up and hanging our gift suggestion ornaments during the month of October.  The date for the giveaway is December 9th at the Dillsburg New Hope Ministries.


Do not wrap any items.  You can however donate paper, ribbon and tape.

 

Advent Soup Suppers

The Soup Suppers begin December 4th and are held Wednesday evenings through December 18th.  Supper will be served at 6:15pm in the Fellowhip Hall.  The supper consists of 2 or 3 different soups, bread and fruit or applesauce.


A sign up sheet for attendance and volunteers to provide the meal will be posted at the end of October and will be located on the bulletin board next to the water cooler.  After supper please join us in the Chapel for a Mid-week Advent Evening Prayer service at 7:00pm.

 

31st Annual Christkindl Market

St. Paul's is planning a bus trip to Mifflinburg PA.  The date will be determined, but the market will be open between December 12th and the 14th.  Enjoy German food, music, and various activities.  There will be over 40 vendors on sight.

 

Plastic Quart Jars

St. Paul's is collecting empty mayonnaise and miracle whip quart-sized plastic jars to be used for Christmas luminaries. Please leave your clean jars on the table in the overflow area.


Assistance Needed for New Hope Ministries

St. Paul's is looking for a helper to assist Nilda Kline with the food collections for New Hope Ministries Food Pantry.  If you are interested in volunterring to assist Nilda Kline, please contact the church office.
