30 Hour Famine

May 25th – 26th 1:00 pm (May 25th) – 7:00 pm (May 26th)

Any youth and adult are welcome to participate.  You start at school after your lunch.  We will be raising money for Lutheran World Relief.  Following the famine, we will participate in the 6:30 pm service and have a meal.


Camping News

April 22, 2-6 pm: Camp Kirchenwald is having an Earth Day Celebration. Enjoy an afternoon of environmental activities, games and crafts. An evening meal is included in the $10 fee.

 

April 27-28, 7pm: 4pm – Camp Kirchenwald is having a Men’s retreat. A weekend with the guys with service projects, athletic competitions, fellowship and Bible study!

 

April 28, 9:00 am: Work Day at Nawakwa or May 5, 8:30 am – Work Day at Kirchenwald and The Wittle Farm. Volunteers needed to do general housekeeping, gardening, painting, carpentry and other tasks. A noon meal will be provided!

 

May 11: Lutheran Camping Night at the Harrisburg Senators. A portion of each Advance Sale Ticket will benefit the Lutheran Camping Corporation's Campership Fund. Sign-up on the bulletin board by the water cooler.

 

New Hope Ministries, Walk for Hope
April 22, 2018. Registration will begin at 1:30 pm —2 pm and the walk will start at 2 pm. Volunteers are needed to man the church for their breaks. Sign ups for volunteers and walkers at on the bulletin in the overflow area. To sign up a team call (717) 432-3053 ext. 1.

 

Songs and Stories of the Civil War

On Sunday, May 20 at 2:00 p.m., St. Paul’s will host a concert open to the community. “Songs and Stories of the Civil War” is the 90-minute program featuring true stories that come out of that time in American history, plus songs that were sung and popular during
the Civil War.  A free-will offering will be taken, but no tickets are necessary.

Empty Mayonnaise Jars

 St. Paul's is seeking empty quart size mayonnaise or miracle whip jars for the Christmas Luminaries.  Please leave your clean jars on the table in the overflow area.
