Promises made at baptism, either by parents and sponsors or by the newly baptized, call us to be disciples who learn about the love of God through the Bible, confessional statements of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and faith practices. The primary opportunity for Christian education is through our lively Sunday School.

Sunday School Classes and Curricula

The preschool class uses the contemporary curriculum, "Holy Moly" by SparkHouse Publishing. Child-friendly movie clips tell the story through animation - with humor! The story is reinforced with engaging activities. Each week, children are encouraged to make an entry in their "Happiness Journal."

Teacher:  Kathy Muir

The elementary classes learn from the lectionary based material, "Deep Blue." The story for the day is introduced with a lively video, shown in our theater. Children then explore the story in more depth through instagrams and other contemporary media.

Teachers:  Lisa Torio, Kathy Bagian, Liana Griffe, Greg and Stacee Dickensheets

Confirmation Ministry, will be studying the Old Testament this fall.

Teachers:  Pastor Ludwig, Mike Zimmerman, Lisa Torio, and Matt Nielson
