On May 31st, the Outreach Committee hosted Abbie Wood in concert.

She is a student candidate in organ performance at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. She obtained a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance from Syracuse University and attended the Royal College of Organists’ 2024 Summer Course, studying with professionals in London.

She performed several of her favorite pieces and hymns. Joining her were her mother, Susan Wood, and grandmother, Judy Schrack, on organ. Her father, Brian Wood, was featured on trumpet.

We thank Abbie for sharing her gifts with us and wish her all the best in her continued studies.
